Speaking to business blog VentureBeat the corporate vice president for and business at Microsoft's game division declared the winner amongst the press conferences.

The VeePee constantly reiterated how difficult it would be for and to reproduce the Project tech they presented.

"I think we won. Its not just me saying that. Its pretty universal. We had something very special yesterday, starting with the games portfolio. We had a lot of content for a normal E3 briefing. But Project Natal doesnt come along every year, and it is very difficult to match."

He also emphasised the longevity of the platform, stating that it would still be relevant in 2015. Interestingly he also he believes that Natal will directly extended the life-span of the console through innovation.

"We firmly believe that the has a life cycle through 2015 (10 years after the launch). Project Natal is a great innovation. It will work with every 360 sold. Its not about pushing more pixels on the screen. Its about how to break down barriers that stop people from playing games."

In another interesting nugget he explained the origins of the name 'Natal'.

"Natal is a city in Brazil, which is where one of our key development team members if from. Natal also means birth. We thought it was appropriate for what we are doing. This is the birth of the next-generation of home entertainment."
