Ahead of their imminent E3 Press Conference, have just announced that the has sold through 1 million units in alone. This is all the more impressive as it is five weeks faster that lite took to hit the milestone.

The new version of the DS launched on April 3 and offered gamers a new sleek look complete with matt finish, camera and SD slot.

Although it is a little perplexing as to what is driving these in terms of features, the new handheld does offer the nifty bility to create, customise and share photos, listen to and play with as well as downloading new games directly.
