A visually intense side-scrolling shooter seems to be on the cards, blending cutting edge aesthetics with retro gameplay. Futuristic weaponry is the order of the day, and was shown being used on a rather meaty boss.

CliffyB promises you intense action and huge boss battles, with Shadow Complex due out on the Xbox Live Arcade later this summer.
