Phil Harrison moved to 'non-executive' role at Atari
...and other Atari news
Hands-in-the-air time. We've overlooked this story amid the E3 madness, so here we're taking the opportunity to play a bit of catch up.
While we're at it, there's been quite a bit of Atari-related news today, so here's a brief round-up:
First of all, Phil Harrison has been moved from his post as Infogrames president to non-executive director.
Atari went on to say that, "As all Board members, he will continue to assist, support and guide the Company's strategy."
So now you know. More available on Kotaku.
In other Atari news, the company reported fiscal year 2009 losses of 226.1 million Euros compared to last year's losses of around 51.1 million.
Finally, Cryptic Studios will be working on remakes of existing Atari IPs. What they might be, is up for speculation, but VG247's Space Invaders MMO suggestion sounds great.
And Cryptic have also announced a Quarter 3 release for the Xbox 360 version of Champions Online.
Phew.
