Slim PS3 images leaked

Alleged no-show at E3

Website Ars Technica have written that there will be no PS3 Slim announcement at E3 this year.

This quote from the site explain why the decision has reprtedly been made to hold off announcing the console at E3 -

"There are plenty of PS3 systems sitting on store shelves right now," Ars Technica continue, "and Sony is planning on sitting back and allowing the supply of those units to dry up over the summer."

A price cut for the existing PS3 model is a still a possibility, but no announcement for the Slim is forthcoming. A summer release for the low fat model has also been touted as a possibility.

A cease and desist order has been issued to Kotaku, who have posted a pic of the console on the site.
