Giving owners the chance to go back to where it all began, Director's Cut will be lumbering onto the PlayStation Store this Thursday.

This 1997 version of the game featured new camera angles, randomised item placements and a handful of new costumes for both Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.

Costing 10 USD, you'll naturally be able to play this on your too, as is standard practice for all Classic titles on the Store.

This is the first in a promised deluge of seminal PSone Classics, with rumours that and Rainbow Six will be next up for the PSN treatment.

Hopefully, news should soon follow on release dates for and Europe. We'll keep you posted.
