Tony Hawk Ride will not be 360 exclusive in UK
Activision confirms deal
Activision have confirmed this morning that Tony Hawk Ride (and the ambitious new controller that will be used to play it) will be an Xbox 360 exclusive in the UK.
The publisher announced the new title for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii last week, but it seems that British gamers will only be enjoying Tony's latest on Microsoft's console.
The deal in question only covers the UK, too, and from what we can gather neither North America or Europe are affected by this new arrangement, which is unlikely to please PS3 owners.
We'll bring you more on this deal, and Ride, as E3 nears.
Update: Word in this afternoon from Activision reports that this news was something of an error, and that the game will still be released on all the previously confirmed formats in the UK: "Further to the erroneous information which was distributed this morning regarding Tony Hawk: RIDE, we would like to clarify that the game is due to be released on the following platforms: Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Wii home video game system."
