The first ever real game crafted by 'legendary' director Uwe Boll is now live on Valve's content delivery platform, the much-maligned Boll offering up Tunnel Rats.

Tunnel Rats is described as "a dark and intense single-player for that depicts the horrific realities of the Vietnam War as seen through the eyes of a young soldier."

The game is available for a bargain 16 GBP, and gamers will be hoping it turns out to be somewhat more entertaining than the director's films.

"It's so bad you'll go off forever. I seriously wanted to switch this off and turn the TV over to the Paint Drying channel but I was bound by my word to suffer the whole thing," offered one critic on IMDB, discussing Boll's House of the Dead movie adaptation.

Let's see if Boll can surprise us all with his game-making talents.
