Creditors owed money by troubled publisher are conspiring to launch a against several parties involved in the sale of the publisher, including purchaser Mark Thomas, as well former owner Sumner Redstone and his daughter Shari, in addition to their holding firm - National Amusements.

Midway's creditors believes these parties may have broken the law during their dealings with the firm, creating a "breach of fiduciary duty, corporate waste and unjust enrichment".

A series of "disastrous" financial transactions during 2008 are mooted in the lawsuit, creditors blaming seniors bosses at the firm for mismanaging the business and wasteful spending.

Sumner Redstone sold Midway to Mark Thomas last year for a mere 100,000 USD - the lawsuit also questioning this deal - which has apparently left Midway basically insolvent since 2007. More on this as we get it. Thanks Gamasutra.
