Ice and Fire games due from Cyanide
A new deal between game maker Cyanide and author George RR Martin will see a new video game created based on fantasy novel series "A Song of Ice and Fire".
A new title is already in the works for the PC and unspecified 'consoles', and this is just one expansion for the IP - which is already being made into a card game and an HBO-backed TV series.
"We are all huge fans of 'A Song of Ice and Fire', so it is a true honor for our teams to be entrusted with creating the first video games inspired by this masterpiece," enthused Cyanide's Patrick Pligersdorffer.
"The twists and turns of the plot will allow us to deliver an experience which can be enjoyed by both long-time fans as well as gamers new to the series."
