New PS3 exclusive from Capcom planned?
Business reports suggest... possibly
Capcom Japan this week hint that they could be hard at work on a brand new PS3 exclusive, the publisher's latest financial-leaning releases chart stating that while 2009-10 will see 12 Xbox 360 games release, there are 13 titles on the way to the PS3.
Spotted by 1UP, this list hints that there could be an extra PS3-only title on the way, with the publisher expecting its PS3 wares to sell 5.3 million copies, compared to 4.9 million on the Xbox 360.
Speculation online suggests this game could be a port of PC MMO Monster Hunter Frontier, targeting a Japanese debut, or even a new entry from hack 'n' slasher Sengoku BASARA.
Lastly, we also hear that the game might simply be a localised version of God of War 3, Capcom having handled Japanese ports of the Sony series in the past.
More on all things Capcom as we get it.
