Gears of War 2 passes five million
New retail bundle official
Epic have confirmed that their hit action title Gears of War 2 has now sold in excess of five million copies worldwide on the Xbox 360 console.
The second game's sales success sees the series as a whole rocket to a whopping 11 million sales.
As part of this announcement, Microsoft and Epic confirm that a new retail bundle for the game, encapsulating all the DLC released to-date, will arrive on July 28th.
Called the Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection it will bundle Combustible, Flashback, Snowblind and Dark Corners DLC packs, as well seven new multiplayer map packs in addition to the Road to Ruin deleted campaign.
The Dark Corners DLC will be released on the same day priced at 1600 Microsoft Points, while this new release is likely to cost about 20 USD in the USA.
