Worlds.com have moved their west, taking their tussle with from the Eastern Texas district court to Northern California. According to website Patent Arcade the company have opted to move the high profile lawsuit because of a Texas ruling that "limits the discretion available to a trial court to determine if a case should be dismissed if an adequate alternate forum exists."

Worlds.com believe they own the patents to basically all concepts, and have warned that are next if their complaint against NCsoft is successful.

Apparently, the case in question wasn't specifically linked to Texas, so Worlds.com are well within their rights to move the case to California which is regarded as a more appropriate setting.
