Last year's E3 show floor was almost entirely devoid of the titillation that frequently demarks big trade shows, but in line with this year's loftier aspirations, so we hear booth babes will be back.

According to word in from organisers ESA, E3 booths will be allowed to use ladies to lure gamers onto their stands; the practice having been axed in favour of a business focus back in 2006.

"Models are allowed," ESA's Dan Hewitt told site Eurogamer.net, "but having them is a choice exhibitors make for themselves."

That said, the business focus will remain, and booth operators will have to keep 'provocation' to a minimum. "Material, including live models, conduct that is sexually explicit and/or sexually provocative, including but not limited to nudity, partial nudity and bathing suit bottoms, are prohibited on the Show floor, all common areas, and at any access points to the Show," state the show's rules.

We'll bring you all the latest from the show floor. No, not like that. Honestly.
