Speaking at Capcom's Captivate shindig which was held in the south of France last week, 2 producer Jun Takeuchi has said that his team are presently only working on the version of the sequel.

"We're are only working on the 360 version of Lost Planet 2 right now," NowGamer were told.

The producer also lets slip that a of the new game should be ready in time for this summer's E3, which kicks off in June. What price an unveiling of that in Microsoft's pre-conference press briefing?

Despite the 360 clearly being the focus, rumours persist that a version of Lost Planet 2 will soon be confirmed none the less.
