Sony's free kiddie friendly Free Realms has opened for business today, operated by Online Entertainment - creators of the hit EverQuest titles.

The game hasn't actually launched yet, it would seem, although the official site is down at present in anticipation of the launch.

Free Realms is aimed primarily at teenagers and promises a colourful and friendly world, with social opportunities and plenty of activities to engage in.
