Eidos Interactive will remain largely untouched following the completion of Square Enix's take-over, the Japanese publisher confirming that the firm will stay 'mostly' independent despite the change of ownership.

"I felt that was a very good fit in terms of sharing the same culture and sharing the same foundation for the business," president and CEO Yoichi Wada told GI.biz.

"When I say 'sharing the culture' that includes the personality of the top management of the company, and the atmosphere in the studios."

CEO Phil Rogers will remain at the helm, while other top bosses will stay in place too, we're assured.
