GTA Online could use microtransactions

Player may be able to buy in-game currency with cash for a boost of up to 1.25 million USD

It appears that GTA Online may offer microtransactions to players when it arrives next month.

One canny Reddit user discovered a file from the store section of the GTA V menu which mentions something called “Cash Cards”.

There are four “Cash Cards” mentioned ranging from 100,000 USD and 1,250,000 USD as well as the mention of the DLC from the various special editions of the game.

A description of the cards reads, "Cash is king in this town. Solve your money problems and help get what you want across Los Santos and Blaine County with the purchase of cash packs for Grand Theft Auto Online. All purchased cash is automatically deposited into your character’s bank account. Spend wisely, cash therapy is fleeting."

Of course, it is possible that these Cash Cards may not necessarily be available via microtransactions although the description makes it a strong possibility.
