MotionPlus dated in Japan
Word in this morning informs us that Nintendo are beginning to firm up their release date plans for Wii Sports Resort and the new MotionPlus peripheral.
Apparently, the new game and its associated gizmo will hit Japan come June, with releases abroad coming the following month.
Wii Sports Resort will be the first title to make use of the MotionPlus add-on, which makes the Wiimote far more sensitive at detecting movements; ideal for sports games, sword fights and more besides.
We'll be looking for word on this large scale launch in North America and Europe come July, with the new products likely to be big at E3 in June. More soon.
