Sony's new PS3 title focusses on online play

Zipper Interactive's new massively multiplayer war game for the PS3, MAG, was never set to include a singleplayer mode and is wholeheartedly a multiplayer experience, that's the word from the developer's Tony Iuppa speaking this week.

"MAG is 100 percent multiplayer and has been since day one," Iuppa told NowGamer.

"This has let us spend all of our development resources on creating a deeper MP experience, which supports tight shooter gameplay seen in games like COD, but that's just the foundation of our offering."

The designer says the focus on online multiplayer action will set MAG apart from titles like Call of Duty, and we're certainly eager to learn more on this realistic war romp.
