World at War pack passes one million downloads
Within opening weekend, too
Call of Duty is a global phenomenon, you only have to look at Xbox Live to see that, with Activision and Treyarch today boasting that CoD: World at War's first map pack has now been downloaded over one million times.
The one million downloads point was passed within the pack's opening weekend of availability; the DLC having hit the PSN and Xbox Live on March 19th.
"I'm proud that the team at Treyarch delivered an experience that so many people are enjoying," beamed Treyarch boss Mark Lamia.
"We're excited that the success of Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 1 will continue to drive the popularity of the game's Nazi Zombie mode, competitive multiplayer and chart-breaking success online."
