Remedy's long-awaited cinematic, title (try saying that first thing on a Monday morning) Alan Wake, will boast some rather unique features - we know that much already - we also hear that the weather will play a special role in the game.

"Everything in the game can be influenced by the weather," developer Oskari Häkkinen told Gamer.no, according to IGN.

"If you are running the car conditions will be worse by heavy rain, than if the weather was good.

"The weather is dynamic, since it will influence how you play the game. Lighting is very important... and this is a unique item that really has not been used in the game before on the way we do it."
