A new Ratchet & Clank game is on the way, revealing that their latest adventure starring the dynamic duo is to be called A Crack in Time.

Insomniac are developing and a release this autumn is scheduled, according to word out of GDC this week.

Apparently, the new game will conclude the events that began in Tools of Destruction, while also answering some of the biggest questions from the R&C series.

Hidden truths and true destinies will be revealed, excitingly, and there's also a more tantalising question posed: "Do Ratchet and Clank's destinies lie with each other? Or is it finally time for the universe's greatest duo to separate for good?"
