Assassin's Creed going cheap on Steam

Valve reveal week-long Ubi sale

Assassin's Creed is available for the PC on Valve's Steam service for a very reasonable 10 USD today, unfortunately, this deal is literally only for today, so move quick.

As part of a special week of discounting a new Ubisoft title will be offered up at a discount price every day for the next few days, sales ending at midnight (Pacific Time).

Assassin's Creed is offered at some 50% off, although the publisher aren't revealing which other titles will be offered between now and Friday, or indeed what their tantalising "Weekend Deal" will be.

Splinter Cell, Silent Hunter 3, World in Conflict, Far Cry, Rainbow Six Vegas, Beyond Good and Evil and several other big name PC offerings are already available on Steam, so we can expect something interesting up for sale tomorrow, too.
