A new adventure game that will lavish hand-drawn visuals, is on the way from Deep Silver, the game maker lifting the lid on Whispered World for the PC.

The title is out across later this year, according to the developer, although lucky Germans will be getting their paws on the title come May.

Inspired by whimsical anime such as Spirited Away, the game promises a unique visual aesthetic; while the game will star a sad clown called Sadwick - who is about to embark on a bizarre adventure prompted a blue dream-creature.

It all sounds a little existential/Braid, with the basic gameplay set to be based on puzzles - in which shape-changing sidekick Spot is likely to assist. More on this soon.
