BioShock man promises surprise with new title
Designer teases of dramatic departure
The man behind BioShock, Ken Levine, has said that players will have to sit back and relax, because he isn't planning on showing anything on his new game for some time.
While 2K work on a sequel to BioShock, Levine hasn't been involved we're told, the designer apparently working on something else, a new top secret project.
"Our new project is something we're champing at the bit to talk about," the game maker teased in dialogue with Gamespot.
"But we're not showing it to anybody and won't be for some time. In fact, the only way to get a look at it is to interview for a job with us."
Levine says that 2K Boston's new title will "probably come as a huge surprise to our audience and yet at the same time will make total sense once they see it."
He continues, adding that narrative will once again be a focus, while the gameplay itself will be a radical departure from BioShock.
