Microsoft concede this morning that Live is experiencing a few "billing issues", but that the platform holder are working to resolve these problems as soon as possible.

The fault was admitted in a new post by Live spokesperson Major Nelson, who tells us that the 'issues' make for "difficulties with account recovery, account management, Marketplace functions and/or making purchases."

Users who already have Points credited are in the clear, apparently, but Xbox.com sign-in is down, and there are also ongoing problems with forums and downloads from the Marketplace.

All community functionality is a-okay, so we'll keep you posted on the rest.
