Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 set for US debut

Tecmo fighter nears daylight

Yet more rumour on the street now, once again reiterating gossip that says Tecmo will lift the lid on Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 soon; the game set to hit Japan and North America come the autumn.

The fighting series has quite a pedigree behind it, and rumours suggest this sequel could at last reach the PS3, after past games were focussed on the Xbox 360.

Joystiq purport to reveal that the new action game will be unveiled in America next week, at the Metreon in San Francisco. Tecmo have already promised a new game unveiling soon, while Japanese magazine Famitsu has also mooted this release's existence in recent weeks.

We await official details with interest.
