PS4 exclusive Deep Down will be free-to-play says Sony
Sony has announced that Capcom's visually astounding PS4 exclusive title Deep Down will be free-to-play.
Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has revealed that they are working towards having a beta ready for the game to arrive as close to the Japanese PS4 launch date of the 22nd of February as possible.
Deep Down is a fantasy action game from the mind of Street Fighter creator Yoshinori Ono that sends folks from 2094 New York back to hack their way through procedurally generated dungeons. It uses Capcom's brand new Panta Rhei game engine.
It is believed that it will not require a PlayStation Plus subscription in order to play like all other free-to-play games on the PS4.
