Expect a year of quality from Sony - Steinberg
Killzone 2 just the beginning
Chatting with GameDaily, Sony US marketing man Scott Steinberg has said that this year will be all about top-quality games from Sony, with Killzone 2 expected to drive sales of the PS3 console.
Steinberg referred to a "great lineup" awash with "AAA quality," Killzone 2 getting the ball rolling apparently, with MLB 09: The Show following next, which "some are calling the best sports title ever made" according to Steinberg.
"Then in summer there's inFamous and you’ll get to see even more excellent titles at E3. If PlayStation fans thought that we'd rest on our laurels from last year and if competitors thought that we'd punched ourselves out, both are mistaken," he railed in the interview.
We're looking forward to learning more about Sony's 2009 ambitions during this summer's E3 bash in Los Angeles.
