David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake in the games, not to mention co-writer of the Watchmen, has launched his own studio.

Hayter's new studio will be called Dark Hero Studios, and the videogame stalwart says his start-up will focus on "film, TV, Internet and vidgame projects in the action, sci-fi and horror genres".

Variety report that the firm will assist other entertainment creators; novels, games, comics and even scripts - in partnership with other IP holders. Presumably Hayter has been inspired by his work on Watchmen.

Demonology will be the first project from the new studio, a new creation of Hayter himself, for which a will apparently be created. We'll keep you posted on the multi-talented Hayter's ongoing efforts.
