Lich King release blocked in China
Naughty skeletons to blame
Blizzard appear to be having a few problems releasing the Wrath of the Lich King add-on for World of Warcraft in China, the Chinese government having rejected two applications for launch.
The inclusion of a city raid, and skeleton characters, saw the authorities describe the title as unsuitable, despite the most recent submission also omitting the brutal Death Knight class.
With Blizzard still struggling to organise the pack's release, the developer have taken the step of pulling a link to the Chinese version from the expansion's English language website.
It seems likely that the MMO makers will further modify the game before attempting to secure release once again, especially given the millions of avid players eagerly waiting for the game in the People's Republic.
