Disney Interactive were forced to cut staff and projects back in January, the company slicing and dicing in order to ride-out the ensuing recession, from which it seems gaming is not immune.

Back when admitted their cut-back plans, there was speculation that developer Propaganda had been forced to axe Turok 2, a full sequel set for the PC, and 360.

We this afternoon learn that this was no idle chit-chat, Propaganda's Garrett Knight adding a rash of Turok 2 art mock-ups to his portfolio. The game maker was in charge of the user interface.

Whether Disney will opt to resurrect this project at some point remains unclear; the publisher retains the IP regardless.
