The Inquirer.net today claims to have received word from an official at ATI who informs them that the graphics card manufacturer will be making a statement tomorrow on their much-touted 2 bundles, with has left many a purchaser of the 9600XT and 9800XT somewhat in the dark with only a voucher to show for their 'bundled' game.

With specific news on a release date still in some state of confusion, it seems ATI are preparing a statement aimed at reassuring purchasers who already have the but no game. Hopefully ATI will give some word tomorrow as to when Half-Life 2 will ship, seeing as neither or Vivendi seem prepared to do so.
