Speaking to MCV today, big cheese Alex Bertie has assured people that Codemasters are hell-bent on avoiding "cheap, crappy" ports on the console.

"You can't ignore Wii, but it's bewildering watching what other publishers are doing," he said, lambasting the stance taken by rival firms.

"Codemasters has taken a more cautious on Wii which has been the right thing to do. We are not going to make cheap, crappy ports."

He added that Codies have tried hard to make Wii games stand on their own feet, noting that for the console is "not Kart", while Overlord 2 is being built as a "gamer's game".

He also promises Codemasters won't create any 'big head arena games'. Nice to know?
