Sliding screen design for new look PSP?
Yet more tittle-tattle this morning concerning the possibility of a brand new PSP handheld, UK blog VG247 learning that the redesigned handheld, expected this year, could feature a sliding screen design.
According to rumours, the so-called PSP-4000 model completely alters the look of the gizmo, with the final product said to be fairly close to a certain much touted image circulated previously.
Beyond the new veneer, PSP-4000 is not PSP2, we're told, with the technology within said to be broadly the same as the present device. The same games will play, then, while a touch-screen interface is also possible, Sony looking to tap into the popularity of the iPhone.
News at GDC or E3 is hoped for. We'll keep you posted on this idle speculation until then.
