Braid price cut on Xbox Live Arcade

Special deal for one week only

Artistic platforming masterpiece Braid has got the price cut its creator Jonathan Blow has perhaps been hoping for, Microsoft slashing the price of the Arcade hit from 1200 to 800 points.

Microsoft introduced a range of cut price deals last December, and now they've announced plans to reintroduce cutting on a regular basis - each week a new XBLA title, add-on, or Xbox Originals release available for a song temporarily.

Braid is the first title in this new programme, available for 800 points from 1pm GMT today, for one week only. That's a saving of 33%, Major Nelson reminds us.
