SingStar goes wireless in March

Wireless microphones available next month

Sony has confirmed that wireless microphones for SingStar will be available in the UK from March 20th.

The announcement follows a recent trial with SingStar Community members, which was deemed a success.

CasualGaming reports SingStar executive producer, Dave Ranyard's comments: "We're excited with the community's response to Wireless Mics. Now SingStars can enjoy their experience wire-free - and test them out with the exciting launch of SingStar: Pop Edition along with hundreds of new tracks in SingStore."

PS3 gamers will have the added bonus of a new voice-controlled navigation system, meaning a joypad is no longer required to play the game.
