No charge for Left 4 Dead DLC

Well, it's a dying trade after all...

Valve has revealed the forthcoming Left 4 Dead DLC will be free of charge.

The Survival Pack will be available for the 360 and PC this spring.

Features of the DLC include two new campaigns for Versus Mode and a new multiplayer game mode known as Survival.

Valve had previously said what the DLC would contain but had not given any details of the price.

Furthermore, a Source Software Development Kit will be available to PC users, meaning they will have the ability to create custom L4D campaigns.
