Olympians everywhere rejoice, Sega have picked up the rights to create a new Winter Olympics game, officially endorsed by Vancouver 2010.
A range of games for various platforms are being planned - with Sega name checking events including skiing, skating and snowboarding.
Sega's creations will all be Vancouver 2010 branded, with releases mentioned for platforms including the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, DS and Wii.
"The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games offers gamers a collection of exciting sports to master, as well as a stunning location for players to take advantage of. We aim to bring fans around the world an exhilarating experience whenever they play any Olympic title," says Sega boss Okitane Usui.
