Not everyone is reigning in the spending, despite the pressures of the global down-turn, having stumped up the cash to buy Snowblind Studios, the developer behind Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance, Champions of Norrath and Justice League Heroes.

Warner Bros have made a number of high profile gaming purchases in recent years, taking TT Games and in addition to take large stakes in Eidos. It is unclear what the of Snowblind cost.

The developer are currently working on Death Tank for the Live Arcade, although who knows what will put them to work on in the future.
