The PC's had it for some time, and now the ambBX game enhancing technology is coming to the - mixing in moody lighting and rumbling to improve the atmosphere of new games.

amBX's creators will be showing off what their technology can do to enhance the latest games at the GDC and San Francisco next month, and they're understandably excited given that the was previously only available on the PC.

"This is a major milestone in the of amBX as a ubiquitous standard for entertainment sensory experiences," beamed rep Jo Cooke.

"amBX has already proved incredibly popular and successful within the games, music, and apps markets and the Tools & Middleware License agreement with SCEI will allow us to bring amazing light, rumble, sound and air movement experiences to game users."

No word on an or version as yet.
