Sony Computer Entertainment today announce a sizable photography aimed at capturing the essence of the PlayStation brand, with, perhaps more importantly, some top prizes up for grabs.

The photography contest has been detailed by ThreeSpeech, who reveal that a 1,000 Euro first prize is up for grabs, alongside a SLR digital camera.

Entrants can upload their photos that capture the "spirit of PlayStation" via the official site, and needless to say, this marketing effort is already generating some mirth in circles.
