Mythic map pack coming for Halo 3

But only for those buying Halo Wars, initially

New details have emerged this weekend on the impending Mythic map pack for Halo 3. The pack will apparently offer up three new maps, upon which Microsoft have now shed some light.

First up is Sandbox, described by Bungie as a Forge heaven, a vast open-world vehicle playground, with tiered layering and infinite customisation potential.

Next up is Assembly, which features two identical bases facing off across a medium sized map - great for Slayer, Capture the flag and Assault games.

Last is a smaller map - Orbital - which offer a docking station, spaced-based environ, ideal for claustrophobic action romps of the One Flag, One Bomb variety.

The map pack will be offered free to gamers buying new RTS Halo Wars, or alternatively a solo release is planned for the spring. Can you wait that long?
