Rumour late yesterday had speculated that could be in trouble - tittle-tattle hinting that the firm was struggling. These rumours were an enourmous exaggeration it would seem; THQ is fine, and their wireless division is merely restructuring.

Speculation began with an N-Europe article on the subject, sparking bemusement from everyone in the business.

Apparently, the publisher is completely fine, and only the wireless division face cuts, the main company unimpacted.

"Today, we advised our staff of a restructuring of our wireless subsidiary in Europe," offered European PR boss Sam Forrest.

"That's all that has happened. The remainder of the Woking based THQ operation were unaffected by this restructure in the wireless subsidiary."

So, THQ are okay. Relax.
