Nexon, the South Korean game maker behind titans like MapleStory, Combat Arms and Mabinogi, are set to close their Vancouver based studio.

90 jobs will go as a result of this Canadian closure, and staff were informed in meetings yesterday, according to Kotaku.

Existing titles like MapleStory will continue to progress and evolve, we're assured, although it is likely that future projects - particularly those with Western market leanings - will be hurt by this news.

More on Nexon as we get it.
