New Empire due in early March

Let the battle commence

Yet more news from Sega this week, the Japanese publisher - for some time improving their standing in Western markets - confirming that new strategy offering Empire: Total War will arrive come early March.

The new epic war-game from Creative Assembly is set to land on the 3rd of March (in North America), and we're told to expect something rather special for the developer's long-awaited return.

Europe will be getting Total War come March 4th, according to Sega, the publisher describing the title as maintaining "the series' genre-leading 3D battles, grand turn based campaign map and rich historical flavour while for the first time introducing 3D naval combat into the series."

The new game has been in the works for some three years. More soon.
