With the death of Bill Roper-backed developer Flagship Studios, debutant Hellgate: London faced an uncertain future, however it seems the game is set to continue under new controllers HanbitSoft.

The role-player is of course still rather popular in South Korea, so the local developer have opted to continue to support the game as a offering.

It does look likely that Hellgate will only be available in Korea, still, affirming that Western servers will close, despite HanbitSoft planning to expand and improve the game - including new community technology.

A new patch for the title will arrive in South Korea, soon.
