Pachter upbeat over Wii outlook
Analyst predict better-than-expected sales
Speaking online this week, chatty Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has said that Nintendo's Wii console is likely to beat the platform holder's own expectations.
Pachter believes Nintendo are gearing up to reveal strong financial results, owing to the popularity of the DS and particularly the Wii console.
Wedbush Morgan believe Nintendo will reveal a new Wii estimate of 30.5 million sold - compared to the previous 27.5 million outlook for the Q3 2009 period.
DS sales are also likely to rise from 30.1 million, to 31.5 million, with official results expected soon. Pachter believes the firm's dominance is likely to continue into the new financial year.
