Sega embrace digital distribution
Football Manager and Universe at War set for Gamersgate
Japanese games publisher Sega have confirmed today a new partnership with online game sellers Gamersgate, that will see the company delivering games to consumers in digital downloadable form.
Football Manager 2009 is the first game available on the service, and it'll be joined by Universe at War, with Condemned: Criminal Origins, Rome: Total War and Outrun 2006: Coast to Coast arriving in the future.
Sega are also looking to deliver games digitally via Valve's Steam and IGN's Direct 2 Drive, and we'll keep our eyes peeled for more on this.
More shortly, downloaders.
